Now that the weather is starting to take a turn, the colours are starting to change, and we’re bringing our big jackets out of the cupboard, we wanted to celebrate the change of seasons here at Polly’s. Whilst we’ll always bear the flag for pale and hoppy, we love to take a wander off the beaten track into the dark side of things. Ginger Nut does exactly what it says on the tin – a chocolate stout first and foremost, this beer is all about the grist bill – we’ve brought Simpsons DRC, along with Pale Chocolate malt to the party on this beer to impart all manner of chocolate, caramel and just a whisper of plums and raisins. Elevating this beer to the next level is a gentle addition of ginger to give a slight spicy edge to this warming winter stout.
