THE BREWERY SAYS:
Inspired by the Helles lagerbiers of Munich, this is a true London lager. German malt, European malts and London water come together to produce a smooth, crisp and flavourful beer. In the spirit of Das Reinheistgebot, we use the spunding method to carbonate our lager naturally, while an extended cold storage in horizontal lager tanks gives our beer time to condition and mature. The inspiration behind the artwork comes from our move to our new brewery in Croydon. It is located very close to Croydon Airport, the UK’s only International airport between the wares. It was also where the legendary pilot Amy Johnson took off to become the first woman to fly solo from England to Australia in 1930.
