FUERST WIACEK | Donzoko – Lush! Fresh Hop Pilsner

THE BREWERY SAYS:

The first of our FUERST WIACEK & FRIENDS COLLABS is our first ever fresh hop pilsner brewed in collaboration with our new friends DONZOKO. Reece, the founder and head brewer stopped by the brewery last month to hand deliver the fresh Smaragd hops direct from the harvest in Tettnang and get things started on this truly special collab.

We decided to brew a Franconian style Pils to set this apart from the classic German Pils in our core range. This has a deeper malt character, a slightly higher bitterness and a drier finish.

There’s a crisp, bitter hoppiness, a rich maltiness and a refreshingly dry finish. It’s fresh lemon zest, burnt caramel and peach ice tea. It pours the colour of an Autumn sunset, hues of auburn and ruby red. As we say in the North of England, it’s proper Lush!
