THE BREWERY SAYS:

The third of our small batch pilsners sees a return to country of origin as far as hop selection goes, but it’s a relatively new kid on the block in terms of German varieties, Callista. One of the more aromatic and complex hops to come out off the Hull breeding program, it provides delicious soft fruit tones like peach, berries and a touch of passion fruit. We’ve combined this with another relatively newer German hop and one of our absolute faves, Saphir, to bring in some tangerine and more classic spicy, herbal “noble” like characteristics. Keeping a simple malt base of 100% German pilsner malt, the softest water imaginable and fermented with our house Bavarian lager yeast this is a classic pilsner with a modern twist.
