Hailing from St Louis, Missouri, Side Project are globally admired for making some of the best beers out there. Period. Whether they’re turning their attention to delicious dark beers or scrumptious sours and saisons, they hit it out the park every time. Charlie was lucky enough to try a load of their beers in the States earlier this year and they truly blew his mind!

So, when finally presented with the opportunity to pick these up in the UK we knew we couldn’t say no. But, and it’s a big but, they are without question the most expensive beers we have bought in 10 years of business!!! Some of these bottles would retail for £100 EACH if we were to put them on sale as usual, and even we can appre ciate that just wouldn’t work for most people. When combined with the fact we only have a very small number of each beer, we’ve decided the best plan is to run this as a ticketed tasting event.

Your ticket will entitle you to a pour of five different Side Project beers across a number of styles:

Coexpressionalism Rouge Noir – Oak Aged Missouri and Oregon Wild Ale with Red and Black Raspberries (Collab with de Garde Brewing) | 250ml

Cassis Du Fermier Blend #4 – Wine Barrel Fermented Saison aged with Black Currants | 250ml

Marble Lions – Missouri Imperial Stout finished on Peanuts, Thai Banana Nibs, Banana Chips, Ugandan Vanilla Beans and Cocoa Nibs | 125ml

With Tarpey – Blend of 57.1% Barrel Aged Imperial Stout and 42.9% Barrel Aged Barleywine rested in oak for 15 to 26 months. conditioned on 20lbs of Uganda, Comoros, and Madagascar vanilla beans (Collab with The Veil) | 125ml

Continuance Blend #7 – Blend of a new Barleywine recipe with pecans in the mash tun and an English Barleywine used in our anniversary blends. rested in oak for 11 to 29 months, before being blended and finished on Thai bananas, maple syrup and cinnamon | 125ml

We also thought this was the perfect time to squeeze something in we’ve been meaning to have for a while… a bottle share! Please bring anything special you’d like to share from your personal stash, or feel free to grab something from our shelves. We’ll be dipping into our own stash and opening some bottles we’ve been hanging onto so let’s make it a proper night to remember!
